Ben Watson studied the flute at Trinity College of Music in london under the Co principal flautist of the BBC Symphony Orchestra Daniel Pailthorpe.
Ben has been performing in orchestras such as the Moscow City Ballet, The Virtuosi of London Orchestra, Sinfonia 21 and the The Philharmonia of the Nations in the UK and Europe. As a freelance musician Ben also plays with a classical guitarist performing in venues such as the National Portrait Gallery and Leeds castle. Whilst studying Ben won various prizes both in and out of college including the William Simmons Prize at the Elena Duran International Flute Convention and Bolton Young Musician Of the Year. At the present time Ben is currently on the Richmond Music Trust panel and is a flute lecturer for advanced students at the Richmond Tertiary College.
