Robert has been teaching the piano for the last four years, having recently passed his ABRSM teaching Diploma exam. He also completed an EPTA pedagogy course on piano teaching at The Royal College of Music.
His main inspiration for teaching the piano is the great pleasure Robert gets from seeing a pupil progress in achieving the goals that are set. He also finds that the preparation and research which must be done when teaching the piano keeps him progressing personally, affording him the opportunity to discover new ways to approach teaching the various techniques. Robert also shows his pupils how to improvise, how to play by ear and encourages them to do performances, should they be so inclined. Robert also studied Music Technology at Rose Bruford University, a performing arts college, for three years. He has also been composing music for many years, working with different artists and song writers, in wide and varied musical styles.
