 Dominic was educated at Radley College, The Birmingham Conservatoire and Trinity College of Music in LondonSince leaving his post graduate studies, he has led a busy freelance career throughout the UK, and central Europe. Dominic plays both the modern and Baroque trumpets and regularly works as principal trumpeter with, the English Concert, Norwegian Baroque Orchestra, Cambridge Baroque Orchestra, Orchestra of the Golden Age, Oslo Baroque Orchestra and The Brooke Street Band (on baroque trumpet). On modern trumpet, Dominic has recently toured Germany, Spain and Russia with the Philharmonia of the Nations and played with the Orchestra of St. John?s, London Brass Virtuosi, Oxford Philharmusica, Chamber Orchestra of Wales. He has recently completed a highly successful two month tour of the U.K. with the English Touring Opera. Dominic has a vast amount of teaching experience, teaching all styles of music. He currently has his own private teaching practisce in west London and also teaches at Kew College and Francis Holland School for Girls. Dominic?s other interests include golf, racquets and squash and he has a keen interest in long distance road biking.
