Sara studied clarinet and composition at Dartington School Of The Arts then went on to study graduate and performers courses at The Royal Northern College of Music, as a Clarinettist and Saxophonist achieving a G.R.N.C.M. and a P.P.R.N.C.M. Sara also studied conducting, singing, orchestral arrangement, and The Art of Teaching whilst at the R.N.C.M.
As well as working nationally as a professional concert and recital solo performer, Sara has worked extensively teaching and coaching children of all ages and ability. She runs workshops and summer schools for children and young people all around the UK involving original music written specifically for the individual children she works with. Sara is a very busy composer, composing educational children?s songs, pop songs and musicals, and recently film scoring work. She is also co principal of Genesis Theatre Schools: a professional Stage School for 5 to 17 year olds.

Philip Mills started playing the clarinet in 1976 at the age of eleven. After spending most of his young musical life playing in various wind bands in the Warwickshire area, he successfully passed his audition and enlisted with the Coldstream Guards Band.
